Prof & Doc ® is a brand launched in 2023 by Watercress Research Ltd. Our first launch includes 3 products in a variety of sizes including a Mist, Serum and Cream. We are known for our novel watercress extract, which is a breakthrough, science-driven and data-backed liquid derived from the watercress plant. Through our novel patent-pending extraction process, we are able to harness the unique properties of the watercress plant to benefit the skin. Our extract is soothing and protects against skin irritation as well as being suitable for all skin types.

Who are Prof & Doc?

Prof & Doc is a brand formed by Professor Paul Winyard and Dr Kyle Stewart. Paul is a Professor of Experimental Medicine at The University of Exeter in Devon and Kyle is a GP in South Devon. Prof & Doc is based in the South West of England and is the first brand to be launched by Watercress Research Ltd.

  • Prof

    Paul Winyard has been the Professor of Experimental Medicine at the University of Exeter Medical School, Devon, since 2002. He previously held the same Professorial title at St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London School of Medicine and Dentistry, London. Paul is a biochemist who heads an internationally leading research group, investigating the role of oxidative stress in human inflammatory diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis (publishing over 300 original research papers in his field). Paul is the Chief Scientific Officer of Watercress Research Ltd (the parent company of Prof &. Doc).

  • Doc

    Dr Kyle Stewart is a practicing NHS GP in Devon, England. During his medical degree, Kyle completed a degree in Medical Sciences giving him a real interest in pathophysiology. He is one of the NHS England Clinical Entrepreneur Fellows and an Associate Research Fellow in Theoretical Medicine. In 2019 he was runner-up in the National GP Trainee of the Year awards. Kyle splits his time equally between clinical work as a GP and being CEO of Watercress Research Ltd (the parent company of Prof & Doc).

All Prof & Doc ® products contain watercress extract at differing percentages. Watercress extract is made using fresh watercress which came from The Watercress Company who are based in Dorset.
